The gold experience is amazingly good value. I learnt lots about whisky and had 5 single malts - would definitely go again.

Start at the bottom of the Royal Mile (at the Scottish Parliament) because it's a good way to start quietly before encountering the masses in the center and top.
Live music every night, but stick around on Saturday in particular: especially if Size Queen are playing. Awesome.

Nice food - bread & dips starter is excellent value, lots of bread and tasty, tasty dips. Plus they have Atlas beers on tap ( Kinlochleven's finest) and Brewdog in bottles.
