When you land at Tom Bradley Terminal on a layover, after you cleared customs, go right back in to cross security. It's much faster than walking outside.

The lemonades in terminal 5 (delta) is hands down the best restaurant at the airport. If you're feeling lucky, sneak into the delta sky club across the way for free booze

Ming Lee2月 4, 2013Marmalade Cafe in the United terminal 7 has tasty an fresh food. The roasted veggie and goat cheese wrap is flavorful and delish.
I usually fly Delta, and the Delta terminals are undergoing renovations. This airport is always crazy busy with inadequate seating and restrooms. Food options have improved more recently.

If you can, fly American Airlines. Relatively a breeze checking in and somewhat organized. As for LAX, what can I say, they're a work in progress 😎
If the arrivals area is super busy when you're going to pick someone up, it's usually faster and easier to have the person meet you at the departures area instead! People tend to move faster.
If you can Avoid Driving to LAX choose Road Runner Shuttle they go from LAX-Long Beach Burbank etc... Plenty of food options and coffee. Airport is under construction in some areas but it’s pretty efficient. Many flight options too!

Kayla Henson9月 14, 2012Have to say I'm with everyone else who says FLY VIRGIN. They make your flight experience way smoother than the other airlines. Great inflight entertainment options.
But e-tickets get in and out ASAP bring print out of confirmation and keep on pushing yikes pay for luggage one time online and save that money so you can focus on other things
Vegetarian & on a budget in Terminal 7? The best deal would be Carl's Jr/Green Burrito - a cheese quesadilla with beans is $3.49 plus tax #traveldeals
Taking a red eye? Buy one of these sleepy neck pillows at the gift shop. Well worth the $15. But don't pull the tag off or the little inside beads will fall out :(
If you're flying southwest biz. You can get extra drink tix by checking in (u get a drink ticket) then change your flight (get another drink ticket) rinse and repeat as much as you want ;)
ℳ𝒶𝓎♍12月 14, 2019LAX is a gigantic airport and the hub of SoCal. No matter what day and time it's jam packed. Getting from one terminal to another can be a real pain in the a**; keep in mind to allocate plenty of time
Learn the streets within the airport. If you're trying to get out of the airport from terminal one and go all the way around, you're missing a great shortcut!
Rayne DeReon5月 15, 2014Free WiFi, not much seating in the holding area at gates 61 & 63, make sure to come early to this gate if you care to sit comfortably.
All the outlets on those Samsung charging stations occupied? Not to fret -- there are power outlets to be found at LAX. Just gotta keep your eyes open. Tip: bring a power strip and share an outlet.
Make sure u budget extra time for arriving to your terminal. Google maps only calculates the time to get to the airport itself.
If you're here for a 6am flight, and like me, you like soup for breakfast, CPK starts serving soup at 5am (2 vegetarian options too).

Tee D7月 3, 2017Clean family restrooms. Nursing rooms available but on high demand so make sure to get in there before your baby becomes hungry!
On a busy night it can take an hour to drive once around World Way so don't warn your friend who is picking you up because you might lose your ride.
Look for the underground train. It takes you from terminal to terminal with out having to go out side. They have golf carts down there moving people and bags around.
KAL lounge wi-fi doesn't require a password. Was able to access it near Starbucks on ground floor
Joshua Herzig-Marx11月 18, 2016Terminal 3 is terrible: small, crowded, insufficient security stations, long lines, few amenities, and in desperate need of a revamp. But the dog walk area is a nice treat to get outside in the AM.

You can walk between all terminals 4 through 8. This really expands your dining and drinking options!
When finding ground transit upon leaving, walk along the sidewalk close to the terminals until reaching the kind you need, then cross over to the p/u island. Don't walk from island to island.
