On a good day the best BBQ in PDX. On a bad day 2nd best. The chicken is shockingly delicious. Brisket huge thumbs up.
This is the new outpost of Josephine's Dry Goods. Great curated selection of fabric, especially Liberty, designer silks, Japanese denim. Small selection of tools and large variety of unique buttons.
New cute froyo place on NE Broadway. The yogurt itself is pretty standard (nonfat, full day and dairy free offerings), but the best part is the artisanal toppings, many from local companies.
Great space with great food. Charcuterie is awesome and so is the Sunday night chicken dinner + two sides and biscuits, a bargain for only $35 (feeds two).
My faves: calamari and carnitas tacos, Bryan's Bowl, tamale plate (check for board for today's choices), the chips and guacamole, the simple salad. They also usually offer a yummy homemade soup.
Their bulk section is awesome. Also the best prices in town for a number of items like pistachios, dried rosebuds and green almonds.
I absolutely love the food (pork and egg noodle soup ftw), and the staff are lovely. The service is absurdly, consistently slow, though, so take that as you will.
