Never fly out of terminal 1. This is where all air travel progress has gone to die. No pre-check, priority security, etc.
Kate N.4月 25, 2013Be prepared to walk long distances! Worse than Ohare or Heathrow. Bring lots of $. Your flight will probably be delayed or cancelled. Unless flying international & have to leave from here, avoid JFK.

Lynette S7月 5, 2014Extremely poorly organized for arriving intl flights. Avoid flying intl thru this airport. The passengers & workers were obviously frustrated. The way it handles intl arrivals is an embarrassment.
Starr B9月 4, 2010I must say I was discouraged after reading every ones "tips" but I got thru security in a matter of minutes. Check in on line so easy. Airport was stuffy and hot and the bathrooms were gross though

Rei Atir8月 18, 2014Try avoiding it. Any other airport in the US is preferable. The immigration lines are ridiculously long.
Look up when in the delta terminal. The ceiling looks like its decaying in several places.
If you're stuck waiting for your Jetblue flight, there are great food/drink options in terminal 5.
Run out of the plane the second the door opens. Otherwise you'll be stuck in that customs line for a long time. A very, very long time.

Michael Brancato6月 20, 2011I don't really care about the fact the scanner can see my junk or even the groping. It's the fact that they don't know how much radiation it exposes us to that worries me.

Avoid long Taxi lines and call an UberX. They arrive in minutes, it's a sweeter ride than a smelly cab and its a $60 flat rate to Manhattan.

"ジョン・F・ケネディ国際空港 ターミナル５：エーロ・サーリネン（1962）。チューリップチェアで有名なサーリネンの代表作。4枚のコンクリート・シェルで構成された屋根が特徴で、飛び立とうとする鳥のような形をしている。曲線が美しい内装は、20世紀を代表する工業デザイナー、レイモンド・ローウィーが手がけた。取り壊しも検討されたが、2005年国家歴史登録財に指定。2009年にはリニューアル完了。"
