Kazumi Terada9月 22, 2013Do try the matcha affogato. Waiter will come by your table, make matcha green tea (like a quasi tea ceremony) and pour it on top of vanilla ice cream to make the ultimate green tea ice cream.
Order the Spicy Miso Tonkotsu Ramen and ask them to hold the spicy paste - I like spice as much as the next guy but in this case it totally masks the BEST broth in NYC. (& I'm a ramen fanatic)
The best ramen within a mile of the west village. Spicy pork miso is what to get. Extra fresh pressed garlic is a nice touch, too.
Rei Wang2月 25, 2014Great customer service is under appreciated. Tonight, I left my purse at Jinya Ramen and the hostess + waiter chased me down 2 blocks to return it. Thank you! Oh, and the Tonkotsu Black is delicious.

nous mangeons6月 23, 2014Tonkatsu black with extra garlic (it's free and you press yourself). If you get extra tofu it's a huge serving but served slightly warm only.
Beautiful interior, delicious food and they aren't messing around with the fresh garlic side.
Go for the Tonkotsu Black Ramen and get a bunch of starters to share. Don't forget to ask about daily specials!
Love this place!!!! Black ramen is amazing and the tempura shrimp is luxurious!!! This place is going to be packed before you know it!

Get the Tonkotsu Black with an extra egg and be blown away. Some of the best ramen eggs in NYC.

Jinya Ramen Bar serves "Tonkotsu Ramen", rich and strong smelling noodle. Tonkotsu uses pork broth which is pumped up with industrial quantities of dashi and dried fish, a broth that seemed to be trying to establish the record for the most umami per milligram.
