Pasta Carbonara is really good. To get a normal portion go for large meal set, it is just the right size and comes with soup and salad or soft drink.

Amazing onsen with many indoor, outdoor and privet pools. Ground floor also has shops and restaurants and rooftop has a nice park where you can relax with feet pools. Really good experience.
For two hours and 4300¥ (3500¥ off season) you can have unlimited drinks and food. The selection is big and food was really good. From rooftop where it’s located there is nice view of Kyoto and JR.
I see no reason why this pizzeria has such a low score. Napoletana was like it should be and very delicious and so was the appetizer. Wine selection is also good. I also liked the counter chairs.
Museum of insects, mostly dedicated to butterflies with actual live specimens in the cage which you can walk through. Very beautiful experience and must visit if in the area.
Beautiful rose garden with many different color combinations and types of flower. There is no entrance fee and on the main gate there is a shop selling rose plants for very affordable price.
This sushi place is expensive but worth the visit. Tuna and salmon taste amazing. Also don’t skip on their cucumber and wasabi rolls. Besides the counter and tables they also have few private rooms.
Long path with different strains of sakura trees, each unique in color and shape of flower. Also very diverse in blooming time so while some are almost finished some are just beginning to do so.
Small castle surrounded by beautiful cherry forest and gardens. In blooming time it is really amazing. Queue for museum is very long thought so just skip it.
