If you’re a music lover, you have to see a show here ASAP. It’s mandatory. The Ryman is a magical place. And I suggest parking at the library garage, entering on 6th St... it’s $10 after 5pm.
If you are visiting Nashville, definitely take some time to catch a show at the Opry. Fun for everyone and good views throughout. A local must see.
Coolest cocktail bar I’ve ever been to. Aesthetic is dark and almost spooky in the best way. Old boiler room of a factory with exposed brick, old machinery, and super tall ceilings.

Bourbon vanilla latte was every bit as good as it sounds...if I lived nearby I’d be in trouble! Biscuits were dense but tasty, sausage spicy but paired surprisingly well with the blackberry jam.
Pour over specialty coffee, craft chocolate, and really good biscuits.
Come hungry. Southern cooking at its best. Be prepared to share a table with new friends as you are served country style. No menus here.
Make sure to get there early (11-1115am) otherwise the lines are long and the seats few. Can't go wrong with meat and three: try the ham or roast beef. Mac & cheese and mashed potatoes are excellent.
Great 3 level club. We were on the third level outdoors. Great view of Nashville and a decent selection of beers . Had live music but I could hear very well from where I was.
Great chicken, lower levels aren’t nearly as hot as Prince’s (which can be nice). The long lines, waits, and fights for tables are what will chip away at your patience though.
The best in Nashville. Tons of great records and books.. Definitely check it out. The cafe is worth getting a coffee at as well; sit on the outdoor patio and relax!
A very cool coffee shop and excellent place for brunch. Right down the street from the capital and state buildings. Good place to fuel up before you begin your tours. Try the biscuits and gravy.

There's doughnuts then there's a 5 daughters 100 layer doughnut. They are a treat from the moment you lay eyes on them. True to their 100 layer name there's also a light frosting piped inside.
Best BBQ in Nashville. Really great chicken and ribs. Worth a visit any time I'm in town.
To quote the missus “I loved everything” Great space, great food, good service. Egg sandwich was munch,lovely Avo toast, Brussel salad, even the fries were good. Judge a place by its fries I say.
Got to see some great talent at Writer's Night. Got in line a bit after 5 and did not get in to the 6pm show, but were among the first dozen in for the 8pm show. So...come very early!

One of the best venues for live music I’ve ever experienced. Chill atmosphere & staff, laidback crowds, great acts. Plus, clean restrooms and free water cups!
Love Mickey’s! Great dive bar with an awesome happy hour. The best part is you can pickup Nicoletto’s (the pasta place next door) and dine in!

Not sure why it's a Hostel! Other then the bunk beds; the cleanliness of this place is comparable to a 5 star hotel! Great stay! Loved it!!
I can’t wait to come back. Redneck moonshine & orange creamsicle were amazing. Also thighs on toast w/Asian sauce and the chicken tacos! The slaw = great! Mac n cheese just ok though.
Sample the beer before getting a full pint. They have a lot of experimental beers, some of which are great (Peanut Butter Milk Stout!) and others that really really aren't (Hot Chicken Ale ugh).
