The view up here is extraordinary, simply a must visit place for friends, families and photographers, that visit the States! Also great for hicking if you bring picknick and good shors along with you!

Sign up for a free tour online. They can only accommodate a certain amount of people at a time, so signing up is critical. Do not expect to walk in and be able to join a tour. Tours fill up fast.

This is one of my favorite places in old port!! Excellent ambience, and wonderful cocktails, and desserts. The cheese plate is superb. They also serve absinthe if you wanted to try it.

Fabulous ambience, an old church converted into an upscale restaurant. Interesting combination of flavors in everything from the cocktails, apetizers to the main course. Phenomenal.

Open by appointment, these guys make Kombucha and some cider. You can pick up some of their wares at the local bottle shops. Different and independent.
Excellent for live acoustic blues and jazz performance. Small intimate space with great sound and feel.
Catch a sunset or sunrise. You can drive to the top and hike down a bit to catch the beautiful views of the park. Plenty of parking on top. Really a gem.
One of the must see gems in the park, it's rare for sand to be created here. Easily worth spending a whole day relaxing here. Parking can be tough. There is also a great view along park road.
An awesome fresh water pond with a beautiful 3 mile hiking trail around it. No swimming because it's used for public drinking water but they do allow kayaks.
Easy 3.2 mile loop around the pond with fantastic views. After your hike, stop at the restaurant for some pop overs and a drink.
Beautiful easy trail to hike. You can pick it up in a few places like Thunder Hole or start at Sand Beach. If it's hard to find parking you can park further down.

The lobster roll was very light on the mayo, perfect for drawing out the tastes of the lobster. Definitely get a cup of the clam chowder with your order, I don't think I've had better. Cash only!

Truly the best lobster I've ever had! Be sure to try the "soft shell" lobster (my new favorite). The lobster roll was delicious. Seeing it get pulled up fresh from the docks made it even tastier!
One of the best lobster rolls in ME. Homemade bun, huge chunks of fresh lobster, overlooking the sweetest harbor in Musc. Bay. BYOwine, pick wildflowers to put in a growler & make an afternoon of it.

A visit to Acadia would be incomplete without Thurstons. The only way it gets any fresher is if they put it on your plate from the boat. Oh wait, they do. Snag a Lobster Ale as the perfect complement.
All the lobster things are delicious. The quesadilla and mac and cheese are especially good. Finish with a slice of perfect blueberry pie, which has a hint of lime.
A bit out of the way, but right now (end of July) the Lobster rolls are 2 for $10. Seriously.
