This beautiful medieval village sits atop a cliff overlooking the sea and the surrounding landscape. The narrow streets bring you back in time.
It's a long drive from Paris, but this place is incredible. I recommend staying in Normandy. Apparently there are hotels in the island. Check the tide table. They say that watching the tide is nice.
This used to be a brothel but is now redecorated to one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever seen. They have an exquisite cocktail bar.
Make a reservation!!! Then you can just arrive and enjoy. Service is great. Food is creative and fun. Cocktails are amazing and the vibe is Paris chic with a twist of NYC.
Beware of pickpockets and fight your way into the real fleamarket. When arrived, enjoy the travel through the centuries.
