Cute recent renovations, crazy friendly and helpful staff, comfy beds, super value for the location! Don't expect much from pool but hey, Waikiki beach is two blocks away.
Awesome staff and accommodations. Easy access to the beach, good food, close proximity to shops, activities on site (Richard the surf instructor is great!!! Btw) and off. I would recommend to anyone.
Incredible boutique/designer hotel right next to Ala Moana and Waikiki. Hip design, cool views, pool and bars. Definitely coming back here.
1-2 blocks from the beach, which is perfect for having access, but not dealing with all the tourists on a 24 hr basis.... great service with an Aloha Ambassador in the lobby!

All these complaints, but here is the low-down: two pools (one heated) a very cute waterfall + hot tub. Room price is VERY FAIR for Waikiki ($130-150). Plus Spada Breakfast ($5 up charge) is WORTH IT!

Here's a checklist before dinner: 1. Order a Mai Tai, 2. Admire the sunset, 3. Enjoy the hula of former Miss Hawai‘i, Kanoe Miller. It does not get better than this in all of Waikīkī.
Mixed Plate (teri beef, mahi mahi fish and fried chicken with 1 scoop of macaroni salad and 2 scoops of rice.) Along with the Mixed Plate lunch, I had a large Pepsi (or Coke) drink with it.

You absolutely have to get the Spicy Negihama Tartare and the homemade tofu with dashi jelly. This is my favorite Japanese restaurant in Hawaii, hands down.
MUST TRY: Poke. Personal favorite is the blue crab prepared Hawaiian style. They don't always have it so when they do it is a treat.

Great place to get locally grown pineapple and other goodies. Friendly staff and great customer service. If you are craving a fruity drink but don't like it too sugary, this is the place to go.
Stay on the lagoon side because the sand on the other side of the pier is all gravel.

Bring cash for purchases. Very few vendors accept credit/debit. Also, wear sunscreen and a hat--it gets HOT out there. If you like coconut, get a fresh, green, young coconut to drink from!
One of the best views on Oahu and great cardio! It's an easy trail but the hike is long and step. Being water and wear as little as possible.
This place is very popular, so expect to wait if you come during peak lunch hour. Parking is also limited and you may have to park on the street. But it's definitely worth the stop!

Furikake Ahi and Loco Moco are pretty good. Fish & chips plate is probably the worst I've had on the island. Poke is so-so; much better at fresh catch
Wong's culinary skills as a James Beard award winner are superb, but not to be overlooked is his pastry chef, who has mastered fruit and chocolate desserts. Try the chocolate soda with Irish whiskey.
Just a reminder the Okazuya window outside the restaurant is closed on Tuesdays, according to the hours sign in the window.
If you're looking for a place to snorkel and see fish, this is it. There are a lot of rocks as you first get into the water so it's sometimes helpful to bring water shoes so you don't cut your feet.

They have garlic, spicy, and lemon pepper varieties of shrimp plates. Each comes with two scoops of rice, some salad and wedge of pineapple. There is nothing more to add, Macky's shrimp simply rocks!
Drive way down past the main parking lot for a quiet beach and a small ceremonial area. Continue walking to the right and you'll find secret beach. Lots of coral and shells on the beach!

The pillbox at the top is very muddy, windy and cold. Bring something to sit on while you wait for the sunrise (like old towels you can throw away or even a trash bag).
Fantastic service and live music! Lots of their food is homemade- like the creamy pesto, a mix of alfredo and pesto sauces, yum!!
A quiet retreat in paradise. The white sand powder beach and clear turquoise water only compliment this hidden gem on the windward side. Great for sunbathing or windsurfing!
