For Transportation Fans, The MTA has a wonderful transit museum shop in the west concourse near the station masters office. Really nice goodies in there. Also, for good eats there is lots of places on
Like walking around in a piece of history. Beautiful. Be sure to look up and see the constellations.

Christoff Frazier11月 26, 2011Grand Central oyster bar has great chowder. Also, if you enter the tunnel on 58th and Lex you can get a $5 scotch and either drink it on the metro north or enjoy it in the tunnel.
Check out the whisper room downstairs. You can whisper and talk to a personal on the opposite diagonal

On the ceiling near the crab is a dark brick which was not cleaned during the 1998 restoration. It's from cigarette smoke and represents what the entire ceiling looked like previously.
If you want to meander around grand central terminal, think about the name of this place! go at non-rush hour times. It's not times square. And pay attention to where you're walking, not your phone.
There is a board taken from after 9/11 with posters of missing loved ones in Vanderbilt Hall for the Grand Central 100 years exhibit. Very moving.

During morning and evening commute keep moving and keep your eyes off of your mobile, and do not stop to take photo - you aren't a good photographer anyway!
Forgot what a mob scene it is here. But still easy to manage. Great urban design

Love this building. Love to people watch at GCT during rush hour. Junior's and Irving Farm Roasters. :)
If you walk through the mid section there are stairs that lead to an awesome rooftop also open to the public. So peaceful up here.
