If your coming from uptown get in the 2nd car from the back of train, 1st door...leaves your right @ stairs, otherwise good luck in the clusterf#*k
I love walking through here, but sometimes way too crowded.
Buy a beer from the carts on the platform; best prices in town and make the ride more fun,
There is also a hole in the ceiling that was made to accommodate the tip of an American Redstone missile. Try to find it ;)
Apple store will be replacing Metrazur on the East Balcony. Further enhancement to the GCT retail scene?
technically not open 24 hours - metro north and central chamber don't open til 5:15am...

- Air Conditioning on a subway platform. If you're waiting for the downtown 4/5/6 train, stand by the stairs near the uptown end of the platform by the air conditioning vents.
If you have an iPhone, it's probably dead. Swing by the Apple Store and charge up for a few minutes.
Biggest pet-peeve for most people: one person taking up the entirety of a 3 seat row or better yet, the 4/5/6 seat groupings on the trains. Don't do it.
stops at fordham, harlem 125, then grand central. great for if you missed the 5:22 express
If you have some time to kill, take a stroll through the Grand Central Market, on the Lexington Avenue side.
If you stand in the middle of Grand Central and yell "WHERE IS MY CHOO CHOO?!?!" something magical happens
