Fast and efficient airport, especially during the week. Expensive though
A Migros supermarket is open 7/7 at the end of the train station which is located in the airport.

Getting duty free processed is confusing. Just go to the American Express desk.
Come early as the queues for the security control are always long due to insufficient resources. Security personnel is usually rude and inefficient.
Very few options at the C gates so be sure to shop and eat before you go through passport control.
If you're staying here overnight, expect the police to come and check your passport and boarding pass.

Duty fee prices for Swiss watches are not low. Better off in Geneva center or Basel.

D gates are pretty useless, no shops, little seats, ... stay in the main hall as long as you can

Do not forget your Double Whooper Cheese :-) The only Burger King in Geneva is located at the 1st Floor - enjoy
Avoid the winter weekends if you can as it's going to be the worst nightmare you had in a decade... checkin staff from Swissport couldn't care less about their jobs
