S Liao1月 6, 2018Terminal 2 is super far away. Advise to plan more time if your flight is at terminal 2.
Claudia8月 19, 2012Leave your bags at the baggage holding area by train station and explore the city for a few hours if you have a long layover in Geneva.
Clean, close to the city - directly connected via train. Great logistics.
Mikhail Belov6月 17, 2013Ask for Starbucks if you need wifi (arrivals hall). I faced problem to get a code for 30-minutes complimentary Internet access provided by GVA without working network.
If you travel on Sundays & especially afternoon, go early! Big lines at security
Anna Li2月 13, 2015Если у Вас ночная пересадка тут, то советую брать отель или готовьтесь к тому, что вход в транзитную зону закрывают в 22:00, здание аэропорта закрывается в 00:00. Спать там негде. Сиденья жесткие.

When you get access to free wifi, you have to have a cell phone to get password for login. However, only one Japanese carrier, SoftBank mobile can retrieve the SMS from the wifi authentication server.
Super shuttle bus. Montreux Riviera welcomes you. Have a trip to this wonderfull relaxing jazzy resort!

I like this airport because its pretty small and takes you many place in the world. That's pretty cool

Small airport with poor wifi .. If your late and still in the migration don't worry they will call your destination and let you at the beginning of the queue
If you can checkin from the French side. Only a few people do so in contrast to thousands on the Swiss side

Getting through security here was often a nightmare, but they've remodelled the area and increased the number of gates. Much better!

This airport has a Swiss and a French part. The French part is mostly used for connections to Paris.
If you leave to a non-scheme em country, consider 5-15 minutes for passport control. Normally not crowded, but there can be queues!
If you can, don't take the new security check on right. It's longer!
Burcu Saraç6月 26, 2012Duty free prices are higher than other European airports though they claim they are more affordable. Free public eifi for one hour though;)- Many people don't know but the day before your flight, you can buy for a ridiculous low price a security priority pass! Visit the airport's website!
B Gate is certainly not accessible for all. When embarking or disembarking aircraft you are required to carry luggage up or down two flights of stairs.

If you have time to spare and the weather is nice go sit on the outdoor terrace on the first floor.
