Lot's of food. Smoked meat very tender and tasty. Poutine is french fries with gravy and cheese curds - I guess it is an acquired taste.
Unbelievably good. The pork chop was the best I ever tasted. You also have to try the foie gras ball starter. Everything was amazing.

Definitely overrated...no worth the hype...but I guess if waiting in line for breakfast and getting served by rude hipster wannabes is your thing, then try it out...btw food is passable at best
All the small plates we shared were excellent. Much better than I remembered from my first visits. The buns were a highlight and the goyza sauce so good I wanted to lick the bowl.

La Bête à Pain is the “brother” business and bread provider of Le-St. Urbain restaurant, and worthy on its own for canelé and other pastries (plus an amazing weekend brunch).
