One of the best views in Paris is from the steps in front of Sacre-Coeur. Montmartre can be very busy at times. We recommend going during the weekdays for a less hectic experience.
Don't be afraid of the line, it moves quickly. Highly recommend going up in the bell towers to see the gargoyles and for one of Paris' best views.
It's worthy going up to the basilique by stairs, because then you'll have a beautiful view from Paris ;)
