Danny Meyer does a solid job at extremely thin crust pizza in a cavernous Flatiron hotel lobby space. The carbonara pizza is good for dinner, and perfect for brunch. Affordable.
Make your own tasting menu. The uni croquette with mushrooms was worth every $3 bite. The short rib sashimi was great too. Go heavy on appetizers and enjoy what feels like a Japanese living room.
The 1-2 punch of crab and pork soup dumplings followed by pan fried juicy pork buns will knock you into dumpling heaven for $11. You just need to take the 7 to the last stop to get there.
