A place to see when visiting Paris, but the plaza is just a tourist trap. Beware of the overpriced cafés. If the waiters are rude, it is not a tradition, they are just impolite.

This shop drawn the capital’s food lovers like a magnet. Philippe Conticini has been offering them sublime pâtisserie confections in the modern, soothing surroundings of his tea room.
Famous fallafel place. Line is often long but moves quickly. Affordable and fast meal (5 euros for a sandwich from the take-out window).
The 10 euro set menu is pretty great for lunch. Get the cider to drink as its a surprisingly great accompaniment.
