Wonderful tugged in Beer Brewery with its own personality. Small produce with a good range. Lovely Newtown vibe, the whole retro, graffiti arts on the walls are fab. Try their tasting plank, a must
Get the tonkotsu ramen with pork spare rib and soft boiled egg! Oh and bring a large bottle of water. Best ramen in Sydney!
Love their breakfast menu, which runs til 3pm! Spiced fig and almond granola with pink pepper poached pear and sheep's milk yoghurt is pretty special.
If u plan to use laptop or spend quite a time for other stuff, don't hesitate to go upstairs. Although less cozier environment, plenty of power cables and clerks don't come upstairs that often :)
Grab a seat by the window and watch Surry Hills walk past. PCP’s espresso is fantastic, but it’s definitely worth trying a filter coffee. It's like wine: ask for their advice on which to try.

Breakfast was wonderful. The avo, feta, mint on sourdough was perfect but I would have added an egg in hindsight. Hot chocolate is not sweet but you're here for the coffee anyway.

Fantastic and always-changing range of craft beer and cider on tap. But make sure you time your visit to the beer garden out the back to make sure there’s shade.

Tasty hideout in the midst of a distinct lack of good food spots. Tacos are $5 each and pretty solid value, flavoursome and complex but still a rocking late night feed. Open late, real late.

Been coming for years and these are the best sandwiches in the world. Mark who serves most of the time is a champ and a true Sandwich King. The snitzels good try the Tuna salad with veges and coleslaw
