El Loco

The hot dog is absolutely amazing & the tacos are good-reminds me of street tacos at home. As much as I love Margs I have to say this one isn't worth it. Made w/ syrup and a tiny cup filled with ice.

Amazing pork belly taco & chorizo quesadillas w/ mayo (I'm certain is the same one used in the mini bánh mì at Ms.G's). Churros w/ dulce de leche = heaven. Pink cuco is essential. Epic cheesy hotdog.

The tacos might be what gets you in the door (try a secret taco!) and the hot dog may be deliciously cheesy, but the churros are what brings it home!

Great spot for a cerveza and some guacamole and tortillas. The soft tacos are delicious if sometimes a bit wet & soggy

Australia doesn't do Mexican as well as it does other cuisines. That being said, the food here isn't bad and gives you a half decent taco. The Chipotle Fries are the bomb.

Big fan of the chorizo quesadilla. Small portions so order a carne asada taco to go along with it!

Don't think of this as Mexican but our best example of US food truck fare. The pork burger, on a soft bun, is the best menu item. And try the tofu taco - so much better than it sounds!

Tasty hideout in the midst of a distinct lack of good food spots. Tacos are $5 each and pretty solid value, flavoursome and complex but still a rocking late night feed. Open late, real late.

The Cubano is an insult to the great sandwich tradition. Like something you threw together in college after consuming vast quantities of narcotics of choice. Rubbish.

Try the fish taco, jalapeño margarita and chorizo quesadilla. The churros are good for sharing (caramel sauce > choc sauce)

Can't go past the tacos. Pork, fish & tofu are my faves. Wash down with several jalapeño margaritas.

Try the El Loco salad, a towering heap of chilli tofu topped with queso fresca cheese and tortilla chips slivers.

The hot dog is good.. The beer a god price, the place is cool.. But in Brasil the dog sooooo much better

Fish Torta was lovely, if a little mild. Disappointed in my $15 cocktail though. You expect a full cup (cup is already small) my cup was only half full (frozen margarita) and passed over in a hurry!

For a healthier option get the Taco with lettuce leaf. The burger was amazing so much flavor.

Food and drinks were great, nice selection of tacos, but I felt everything was overpriced given how small the portions/drinks are.

While the food is fantastic I felt more than slightly ripped off on my Lagerita. Supposed to be topped with Corona, but with all that ice, there couldn't have been more than 75mL of it!

The secret taco changes often but it's always delicious.

Really enjoyed El Loco. Cheap and cheerful, but a lot of fun. Great spot for groups.

Take on The Excelsior hot dog, an epic sausage bleeding deep meaty flavour into soft bread beneath a smothering blanket of melted fairy-flossed cheese, pickled jalapeno and creamy mayo.

The Al Pastor pork taco is the best of the bunch, though the prawn and beef are pretty delish too! Get a variety to share.

Try the Tacos - I can't remember the names of these tacos. One's beef and the other roast pork. Only $5 each. My new drink buddies

The jalapeno margarita is intense and crazy in the best way possible. Two words: do it!

Melt in mouth Hot dogs, tacos and a good variety of Mexican beers.

Go for the tempura zucchini flower taco with miso mayo and red radish. It's on the specials board sometimes.

Get the hot dog, but minus the bun and eat everything with a fork. Delicious

Tacos are super small :-( 1 bite only. rather take the chips with the very good Chipotle mayo. guacamole is not that good.

Tacos may drip (VERY probable), use the boat to avoid spilling on yourself. Now stop reading and ENJOY!

You can't go wrong with the $10 Pork Sandwich. I usually don't even eat pork!

Great Mexican street food. They really capture the essence of this.

The only reasons to come here is the cheap tacos. Overall I'm not a fan of the vibe or atmosphere but id come here just for the cheap food.

I think this place is over rated. Music is too loud, no seat available. Tacos are cheap at $5 but not tasty. Drinks are mediocre. Maybe it's popular because it seems like lots hipsters come here.

Very good tacos & good atmosphere !

Somewhat tastey, but portions are comically small and pitchers are basically 2/3rds ice.

That fluffy cheese on the hot dog is amazing! And it's a big meal.

You can get take away here and take it across the road to button bar.
