There is nothing closer to home cooked Southern Indian food than Shree Ganga. according to my Indian colleagues. Delicious, huge servings of fresh vegetables (try the Bhindi & Channa Masala).
With decor and staff uniforms reminiscent of a 1980's Hong Kong triad film, Red Star is one of Singapore's best known dim sum restaurants. A little overrated, it still deliver good Cantonese cuisine.
Price compared to others are very reasonable and good price. Taste food to know.

Amazing dim sum. Great for drunken feasts. Shared tables so be weary of annoying fellow dinners if you're eating there late.
Great Italian joint. Try the Beef Fillet with peppercorns and gorgonzola cheese! Fantastic! Goes great with the house red as well!
Best kidney mee sua in town . And their salted egg crab and Teowchew steam fish.

Peppery soup variety. Braised trotters are a tender, tasty, fall-off-bone delicious. Pictures of celebrities on wall nice distraction.
