Definitely going to get a Michelin. One of the best dinners in SF. Orecchiette, agnolotti, crudo, halibut, and buckwheat ice cream were perfection. Simple and elegant venue.
Brand new Italian spot. It’s definitely a pasta place, so make sure to get the pappardelle. The salted butter they serve is also amazing.
Great view of the Forbidden City. Pretty easy hike up, just note that smog may obscure your view. Tbh liked it better than the actual city.
Pretty good tapas spot. Recommend shishito peppers, shrimp, sangria, and croquetas. Had a bit of an upscale feel.
One of the best of Berkeley. Recommend Peking duck, lettuce cups, and tofu. Make a reservation or prepare to wait. Very cheap!
One of the best designed gyms in the city. Not crowded from a design or people perspective. Great for all levels!
I don’t love vegan food, but this is as good as it gets for me. Don’t forget the “nigiri”, it’s really well flavored and worth the $4/bite.
Great climbing gym that is always busy. Bouldering area tends to be less full and still great. Fun for all levels and ages.
Unique coffee spot in Culver. Free WiFi, but no air conditioning. Espresso drinks are better than the drip coffee.
One of the best hiking spots I’ve been too. Recommend spring or fall when it’s not too hot and crowded. Go early (9am) to the popular spots and bring lots of water and snacks.
This should be on your bucket list. Amazing lighting and patterns between 11am and 1pm. Make sure to book your tour in advance and arrive at least 30 minutes early (they will cancel you if late).
This is a tough and dangerous hike, but you will be rewarded with the views and memories of a lifetime. First hike I’ve been on that required the use of chains!
The most unique hike I’ve ever been on. Make sure to pick up some waterproof pants and a walking stick (your boots will get soaked no matter what). Start early before it gets too hot and crowded.
One of the nicer hotels in Springdale. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful! Nothing better than their hot tub, cookies, and spa water after a long hike. Don’t miss the waffle brunch!
The best restaurant in Springdale. Nothing better than their ribeye after a long hike. Also recommend the sweet potato tamale with carnitas.
Beautiful coffee shop and store in FiDi. Go downstairs for a free sample. Employees are very knowledgeable about each pod.
Excellent presentation and service. Favorites were the special pastas with black truffle and caviar. Skip the risotto.
