A Berlin institution and one of the oldest Curry Wurst diners in town, below the train tracks at street level. Don´t mind the line-ups, service is efficient and quick.
My tip: Check out the guy selling oversize letters in metal & plexi-glass & the guy selling old lead movable type. Arkonaplatz is pricier but a lot better curated than nearby Mauerpark...

I can confirm what others have said: waitress are a bit rude but the food and beer are great. The service is a bit slow but if you're a tourist, this is a must-visit place.

The Berlin Wall East Side Gallery showcases the work of 106 international artists on a 1.3km section of the original wall. A world symbol of freedom, it’s also the world’s biggest open-air gallery.
A public park at the Prenzlauer Berg district is where you could have a picnic, take a stroll, or shop at the famous flea market. You could also watch musicians, jugglers, and other great performers!
Great coffee, roasted on site. Amazingly friendly staff. Tasty cakes, baked on site. Sit inside or out, free wifi available. All the ingredients to stay for hours on end and come back the next day!

The most beautiful square in Berlin with two impressive cathedrals and the concert house.
The best chicken ever. Ever! It's amazing. Get one of each of the delicious salads as well, and DO try the traditional schnapps after the meal.
Everything is quality here. The Beef Goulash (Gulasch vom Rind) was amazing and the side salad was the fanciest side salad I've ever seen.
Fanciest, best matzoh ball soup I've ever had. The pastrami is smoked in the basement and it is delightful. Can't compare to Katz's Deli but it is right up there.
Favorite coffee shop in Berlin, the staff here was so geeky and knowledgable. They work directly with their farmers and roast at their other location. Ask questions, they have answers.
Listen to Dead Kennedys at this punk bar and order a Mexicana. It's a Bloody Mary shot.
