the best value on the breakfast menu is the $5 soft boiled egg with soldiers. it's surprisingly filling and you get the added bonus of feeling a wee bit british.

Reservations are definitely a must as the restaurant is typically packed at all hours of the day.- If you're in NYC, you have to eat here. Great steak, special atmosphere. The steak tartare is probably the best in the world! They don't do walk-ins.
Best croissants in the city. Amazing atmosphere but also there’s a little bakery takeout next door for getting bread to go.
