As a connoisseur of Tex Mex, I approve for comfort Mexican food. It’s sacrilegious to not start with guac and seven dips. Pastrami tacos and short rib make your own tacos are🔥. Layer on a few margs!
Empellon's high end offering is not for those on a budget. Sea bream was great. Downtowners will recognize familiar guac, salsa spread and some of the taco offerings

amazing oysters, One of the freshest and flavoured we had. Grilled octopus is by far the best appetizer. Crab cakes are tender and of superb quality.

Avocado Lobster is amazing!Our server Andrew, very knowledgeable of his menu. The food all around was stellar, the service was exceptional. You get what you pay for!!! We will go back for sure!
Teppan lobster brushed with ponzu and served with 9 sauces, mushrooms and shishito peppers & seared scallops sushi. Skip tuna sashimi with chilli. Shaved ice dessert between 2-4 & choc mousse
Servers are excellent - helpful with sake & menu recommendations. The food was great as well - had the lobster avocado salad, wagyu skirt steak, garlic rice, and sashimi - it was all excellent.
Lovely setting, svc & Chicken Tuscany. Just don’t come for T’day buffet..food was meh (hi volume-low quality control), app options & svc were bad, & LONG waits since only 1 table for turkey+mains.
Surprisingly good, upscale non-traditional Italian fare on roadside of Rte 9P facing Saratoga Lake. Eggplant Parm & Chicken Tuscany were delish. Am also addicted to hot, piping baguette bread.

Pricey but an al fresco AYCE buffet HK fave of mine: zen atmosphere, poolside dining next to HK Harbor, & high-quality grilled meats, seafood & salad bar, & dessert station.
It is all delicious! Duck carnitas, endive salad, razor clams all a must. For desert, everyone raves about the husk meringue (and it is v good) but we preferred the caramelised cacao butter.
Really wonderful brunch. Try the duck enmoladas, the tostada, and the chilaquiles:) the sope and nopales salad are also very nice.
Large portions and creative Mexican fare. Sleek and buzzy interiors. Get the Octopus for sure! The duck carnitas are huge so be sure to share amongst 3/4. The uni tostadas were not memorable.

Yes the burger is bomb. But don't forget the crispy duck wings and their new fried chicken sandwich either.
Very popular spot for brunch and dinner. The doughnuts (made in house) are a must as a starter. The kale sandwich and eggs Benedict are really good as well
That eggs with white bean hummus dish is the best thing. And the eggs in the Phyllo dough. Avocado Toast: yasss. Bagel & Lox, that too. Not sure why people were raving about the Chicken Club.
Everyone in the restaurant is ordering the cauliflower & you should too. Cremini mushroom dish bc of well vegetarian bacon. Ramen is a tad bit oily but you must finish w/ the Matcha creme brûlée.
Hummus, beets and tofu best. Skip sweet potato bowl. Good matcha and almond coffee but both lukewarm so request it hot. Reserve in advance.
Amazing vegetarian food - dosa sambal and corn grits (both only available during brunch) were highlights of our meal
Besides view, avg food+subpar svc didn’t equate to exorbitant prices, esp since we noted online (& VM’s) it was our 10TH WEDDING ANNI & THEY DID NOTHING TO MAKE IT SPECIAL. Our server even snubbed us!
