Tom Szekeres: Best restaurant on the island. Get the tasting menu.

Tom Szekeres: Amazing vegan restaurant, and I'm not a vegan. Seitan burger was amazing. Make sure to have the seawater beer.

Tom Szekeres: Very decent for dinner.

Tom Szekeres: Great vegetarian restaurant – have lunch in the courtyard when it's sunny, and make sure to order a Chai.

Tom Szekeres: Great Tapas place, although avoid any other Tast restaurants – nowhere near as good.

Tom Szekeres: Surf-style restaurant. Good for groups.

Tom Szekeres: Good selection of beers to stock up your Airbnb.

Tom Szekeres: Good if you want to watch the football. Avoid otherwise.

Tom Szekeres: Decent bare-bones gym. Offer very reasonable 8 day memberships if you want to keep things going / look like this guy.

Tom Szekeres: Even if you don't go to the gallery (which you should), there's an amazing sculpture park round the outside, and a great bar overlooking the sea…

Tom Szekeres: Aforementioned bar.

Tom Szekeres: Although it's a chain, any of the Fibonaccis in the city will sort you out for coffee. Also great: wholemeal croissants.

Tom Szekeres: Fusion restaurant. Decor is a bit weird, but they do the most amazing plate of Gyōza I've ever had (and have had Gyōza in Tokyo).

Tom Szekeres: Great food market, like a smaller version of Timeout Lisboa, with better DJs.

Tom Szekeres: Cool little bar with very decent croquetas.

Tom Szekeres: Hike down a peninsula to eat at Sa Foradada. Although unassuming, the vegetarian paella is exceptional, cooked on a wood fire.

Tom Szekeres: Great for kitchen supplies. Mostly organic.

Beth Gibbi: Delicious and traditional home cooked country food on shared tables. The journey to the top of the mountain was terrifying! But what a thrill to reach the top! Well worth a visit!

Tom Szekeres: You can get a rickety old train (followed by a ricketty old tram) from Palma station to this part of the island.

Tom Szekeres: Nice place to have lunch (or to stay) when visiting Port Sóller.

Tom Szekeres: Head here for La Festa des Vermar, third week in September, and be sure not to wear your best clothes. Highlight is “The Grape Battle”, which does exactly what it says on the tin. Good wine too.
