A must visit! You can walk all the way to the ocean and along the way see rose gardens, a vegetable garden, and the most vibrant dahlias you'll ever see. Spend the afternoon here. You can bring wine.
What a hidden gem! Everything here is amazing. Especially recommend the duck prosciutto, mushroom chicaronnes, gnocchi, scallops, and baby beets.
Take a tour, and learn about the integrated operation- goats, sheep, wine. Samples of wine and cheese are super tasty. Great place for lunch also.
Rose is a great tour guide. Low key, relaxed, and no douche-bags in sight. Beautiful building and wonderful wines at fair prices. Don't leave without a bottle of the Deep End Blend.

Excellent local food. Get the fish tacos or the bleu cheese salad with roasted prawns. You can't go wrong here.

Entrance fee is $5. The park is clean, well maintained, and offers bathrooms, picnic tables, a gift shop, a pond, and lots of land to wander and explore.
Get the fried fish, chowder, and shrimp salad. You can see the guys come off the boat with the fish and buy any cut you'd like right from them. Cash in their pocket.
This place will have a massive wait always... and it is massively worth it. The wife and I split a garlic and crab omelette and pumpkin cream waffles... probably the greatest breakfast. Ever.

Loved this beach so much!!! It's so awesome that this beach is covered in beautiful colored glass the ocean has washes up onto the beach. You will really miss out if you don't see this. Go!!
I'm from D.C. and there is no sushi there that compares to Oco. The Margot roll is fantastic, as is the Oco Nomiyaki! Even the lunch portion is very large!

Beautiful cliffs, come at low tide to see the rocks. Take the path at the North end of the parking area to get down to this beach - the South path will take you to Schooner gulch (also great).
Absolutely worth the $7.50 for a trip to the top of the lighthouse, a great story from the docent, and a self-guided tour of the museum.
You have to stop here-best ice cream I've ever had! S'mores, coconut, cake batter, cookie dough--it's all good! And try the mushroom! It's not as weird as you think. I hate mushrooms but loved this!
The Panucho is delicious and perfect for vegetarians. Just order it without the chicken and they will add a bunch of veggies. Have 2 and it's a whole meal.
Beers are great, peach IPA and D&D Drinking Beer. Also, the pepper poppers are a must try!
