Super quaint whiskey bar in Ebisu. There was an 800¥ seating charge but it was worth it. The place had a great selection of whiskey and made a fantastic old fashion.

Hard to find but worth it, look up for Scottish flag in the window. Huge selection of whiskey (the master told me he had 350-400 bottles) as well as two or three craft beers on tap.
Decent selection of Japanese craft beer that rotates often. Staff speaks limited English but welcomes foreign guests. Common hangout spot for AMZN employees given the vicinity to the HQ.

The food and sake is great! Standing room only, and a little bit away from the main streets but definitely worth making time for. There is at least one English speaking bartender.
This guy decided open a bar to share his 10k records. He runs 2 Thorens turntables to 2 Altec speaker cabinets, either side of the back door. 6 nights, 2-11 but stays as long as people want to enjoy<3
