Sometimes it's hard to find a good place to eat with your meat-eating friends and colleagues. These places have something for everyone without neglecting the herbivores. Updated Mar 2018
Val: The fresh baked bread alone is worth the visit. Unlike most Italian spots, they have a separate entirely vegetarian menu. Nothing vegan on it, but they can accommodate vegans. Reservations reco'd.
Val: If you're veg: Get the soon tofu #6 or bibimbap w/o tofu instead of meat. Ask for no egg, no kimchi (they put fish oil in it) for a vegan experience. They'll bring you extras of the other sides.
Val: The vegan poutine is like a deliciously hot and gooey sodium injection. Get the large and share it with your lover. Cash only. Avoid on weekends between 12-4am when the bar crowd gets loose.
Val: Great vegetarian options including app #23 yam noodles, veggie congee, bento box #8. FYI- the miso soup contains fish but they'll bring you 2 salads instead, if you ask.
Ashleigh Gardner: Everything was perfect. They're really accommodating to any dietary restrictions if you let them know when booking. Get the wine pairings.

Cindy Ross Pedersen: Great place for groups to gather for dinner (friends or biz). Lots of interesting tables in the kitchen and bar. Food is interesting and tasting menu is reasonable. Hidden treasure.
Val: Good vegan options but service was slow and inattentive. Water was not brought until after drinks arrived (15mins). Things went forgotten and it took a full hour from finishing the meal to pay.
Alex P: Don't be fooled: it may look like a standard mall food court shack, but the food's amazing and the proprietor has a huge amount of energy. Generous portions and great value.

Val: Limited vegan options. I think there's one at brunch, a scramble but I can barely remember. Whatever it was, it was fairly uninspired tasting. Not their specialty, but at least it's there.
Val: Try the soy london fog latte. They also usually have a vegan sandwich on the menu, though not anything especially good. They also have a good selection of beers in the evening.
