Best udon in Seattle. Never liked the thick noodles of udon until I tasted these. Love the On-tama with extra green onions!
- Miraj Shah8月 12, 2015Loved the kitsune udon, very fresh taste. Tip: add grated radish and sour plum (and ontame (soft poached egg) if you want extra protein). Great slection of tempura, make sure to dunk it in your soup!
- Phuong Nguyen5月 16, 2018I always get the Niku Udon with extra seaweed and egg! Stock up on the tempura flakes. Their drinks are at the very end of the line as you pay, so make sure you don't forget to grab a green tea!

It's hard to find but it's on Stone Way at the southbound 16 bus stop just south of 45th. Chat with Pat, the owner - he's a great guy!
one of my favorite places to eat as a student - yummy noodles best enjoyed when the weather is colder, yums!
If you're feeling adventurous, try the Cold Ontama with half sauce, two eggs, a slice of lemon, green onions and seaweed. Hands down the best udon in Seattle.
The kitsune udon is divine--try it even if you don't normally care for tofu. On a warm day, the cold oroshi udon (with ume!) is super refreshing.

Alice Huang1月 28, 2016Udon is so fresh and delicious. Tempura bar only really good if they just brought out refills.- Another house favorite: cold ume oroshi niku udon. Just ask the staff about it and they'll make sure you have a good time!
This place nails the Japanese fast food aesthetic. For an authentic bowl I recommend niku ume oroshi or tan tan goma zaru.
Robin Chen7月 3, 2019I think the food is meh. The tempura is cold, warm at best, and no longer crispy. The seating is kinda clean and the floor is sticky. But it just hits that spot so I end up coming back 😐
Ly Le2月 16, 2015Have to confess that I want to come here bc of the takoyaki than udon ;) it doesn't mean udon is not good though, just not the best :/
Ask for a lemon wedge, especially with cold udon. So refreshing.
Curry udon all the way! Dont know about others but the tempura flakes fill me up rather quickly- Curry udon was amazing but yes, the tempura bar adds up fast. $1 eggplant isn't shabby though.
