Food & drinks in an independent bookstore make for a special kind of delight. A great place to pass an hour or two; not the right spot if you're in a rush.
Possibly my favorite place in Back Bay. Mostly everything on the menu is great, especially if you're working the night away on a paper. They even serve beer/wine!
The place is crowded but you never have to wait long for someone to leave or for your order. Staff never seems out of sorts or crazy. Awesome place to spend an hour people watching in Newbury St
The coffee here is great, they have an extensive menu with a lot of good food, serve breakfast all day, are open until midnight, and have free wifi. The waitstaff is crazy, but fun. I love it here.
I love Trident and make a point to eat there at least once when i visit boston. The Lemon-Ricotta stuffed french toast is a must. If your feeling healthier try the salmon scramble
You should request table and then browse books until they text you. Probably wait 45 mins for a table but worth it. Although grilled cheese is not good!!!
Browse in the bookstore while waiting for a table to ensure that Mr. Host(ess) doesn't get angry. And look out for the surprise sale books mixed into the regular shelves...
Some favorites from our review: the Trident Fries, Morning Monte Cristo sandwich, lemon ricotta french toast, and the Wake Up Call (carrot-apple-ginger juice). 続きを見る
Thanks to everyone who attended the recent dual book signing event of Sean Glennon's new book "Tom Brady vs the NFL" and Bob Hyldburg's "Total Patriots" Book.
Their new iPhone based seating system makes the host seem rude and disconnected. I got cut in line and he just let it fly; ended up in the worst seats in the place. Good food and great books though.
