Food & drinks in an independent bookstore make for a special kind of delight. A great place to pass an hour or two; not the right spot if you're in a rush.
A bookstore, giftshop, restaurant, bar, and cafe😍 They have all day breakfast menu!
Brunch is awesome, but get there early. And of you're more into lunch, and feel like a kid, get the chicken fingers.

Favorite place to visit when in back bay for the past 15 years. Get the big bowl cappuccino. Awesome place to spend an hour people watching in Newbury St
The coffee here is great, they have an extensive menu with a lot of good food, serve breakfast all day, are open until midnight, and have free wifi. The waitstaff is crazy, but fun. I love it here.

A bit pricey, but in a great location for people watching. Get a seat on the patio and try the cape codder sandwich.

New upstairs section is great! Quieter atmosphere than downstairs. Check out the long table for some nice study space.

First come first serve seating at the bar. Stay for hours, study for hours, eat for hours, and use the wi-fi hours. Closes at midnight too!

My second favorite huevos rancheros is the city. Get a black coffee as well.
There are few things more awesome than writing a book at a bookstore. Indie vibe with a cafe.
