It's the world's largest aquarium housing more than 100,000 animals of 500 different species. The aquarium was built as a gift to the city of Atlanta from Home Depot co-founder Bernard Marcus in 2001.
Buy your tickets ahead of time. If you've got the time, buy the Pemberton Place Pass so you can see both World of Coke & Aquarium - and bypass the long lines! Otters are my fave!
Show up 1 hour before close. You'll get the pro-rated entrance fee ($13 for us), lines are non-existent and you'll have plenty of time to see everything.
Go to Taco Mac (http://www.tacomac.com/) next door at the Philips Arena and order a Buffalo and Blue Cheese Chicken Sandwich with fried chicken. Enjoy.
