- Excellent food, excellent drink, excellent service. Get a pretzel, some sausages, and a radler and experience bliss.
- Kirstjen Lorenz6月 20, 2014We ate about half of the menu & everything was excellent. Particularly liked strawberry salad, knackwurst, spaetzle. We tried all 3 desserts & unanimously agreed that the financier was the best
- David Crespo8月 27, 2015Radler brunch is the best-kept secret in Logan Square. Bloody mary, pork belly, benedict, biscuit, doughnut — all are the best I've ever had.
- Nathan Thompson11月 25, 2017Cozy space with lots of bar seating and long wooden picnic tables. Pretzals, beer cheese and mustards lived up to the hype. Not much of a beer drinker, but nice tidy selection of cocktails.
- Eater1月 3, 2014Now open, former Vie standouts Nathan Sears and Adam Hebert are hoping to raise the level of Bavarian dining and beer in Logan Square.
- P S8月 28, 2014German gastro. Like a really nice French bistro but without the tude. Sausages, assorted picklings, creamed spaetzle, and cheap good draft BEER starting at $4.
- Adrian Brown12月 11, 2013Spacious German beer hall! Delicious sausages akin to what you'd find at The Publican. Nicely situated on Milwaukee Ave with a good view of the El.
- Joseph B.3月 16, 2015A unique menu with delicious food. A little adventurousness is required due to the authenticity of the fare. Huge beer list too.
- Nick Lipton4月 13, 2014Like no-nonsense beer and brauts? How about a whiskey list longer than the bible? Then come in, get the meat sweats and leave happy.
- Emily Jurlina10月 24, 2014The food is great but the bar itself is excellent. Awesome beers on tap and a great drink selection.
- Kirstjen Lorenz6月 20, 2014The Shanks Pony might be my new summer drink. Who knew bourbon & framboise would combine so well?
- Adam Sigel3月 13, 2015Get a pretzel for the table. And get a liter of beer. The braised beef was outstanding.
- Wednesday nights they got trivia at 8pm and it's quite popular. Also hard AF. They also got $4 40's of Miller Highlife. Hammerschlagen after.
- At the least, get a liter of beer and a haus pretzel. It'll be as RAD as it gets. (See what I did there?)
- Stephanie T12月 24, 2013Not your typical German spot-but what is typical in Logan Square? Try the Pretzel and the Rabbit dish!
- Adrianne Elfring12月 31, 2013Our drinks always took a LONG time to come, so just get one of the giant beers right off the bat.
- Sounds cliché, but they are serious about their German beer list and sausages.
- Chicago Tribune1月 7, 2015The beer list here is mind-boggling and impressive. Pair beer with either the pretzel, German onion pie, any wurst available, or a smoked ham sandwich. Dinner nightly and brunch served on weekends. 続きを見る
- Kurt Lamprecht4月 7, 2015A bit too hip for its own britches. I'd rather play beer hall at a real beer hall.
- Chicago Tribune8月 1, 2014The dinner menu is divided into two parts: "The Best," featuring seasonal dishes like veal schnitzel, braised rabbit and German onion pie; and "The Wurst," of which one plate is an immediate standout. 続きを見る
- Chicago Tribune8月 1, 2014The smoked knockwurst ($9 for a quarter pound and $17 for a half pound) is "haus made" pork-belly sausage dressed with plum and celery jam, chips, fennel and dill mayo, roasted broccoli and mustard. 続きを見る
- Robert Gomez5月 19, 2014I was hoping this would be a pleasant experience, avoid the Braised Rabbit at all cost!!!
- Tyler McPheeters2月 8, 2014No pretzels until 4:30p? Odd, because I can see them in the kitchen... #fail
