- Philadelphia Magazine12月 2, 2011The kind of place you go if you want to sip your manhattan and feel like you're in a swanky 1920's speakeasy. "One of the strangest and most amazing places to have a drink in Philly right now." 続きを見る
- Stacy Riley7月 28, 2013Food, yummy. Service, pleasant and prompt. Beef... The website says music starts at 9:30, so we made an 8 pm reservation. Music doesn't start til 10, so now we have to walk around and kill time. Boo.
- Joe Perry8月 6, 2014When the Liquor Control Board isn't shutting it down, it's an incredible place for libations. Unreal draft list that keeps changing and the cocktails, holy smokes, the cocktails.
- Christopher Sopher6月 16, 2013Truly excellent speakeasy. Grab a cocktail (or one of many, many beers) and a barrel to sit around. One of the best old fashioneds I've had, of many many hundred.
- Philadelphia Magazine1月 3, 2012Imagine Ridley Scott directing a happy hour for beer snobs, cocktail historians, Jazz Age hep cats and righteous old drunks. It’s one of the strangest and most amazing places to drink at in Philly.
- Philadelphia Magazine12月 5, 2011Farmers’ Cabinet is now serving its own house beers. Brewer Terry Hawbaker’s beers are unique and excellent. They also tend to be a couple bucks cheaper than the other beers on the list. 続きを見る
- HomeSpeakeasy2月 3, 2012The rustic decor and occasional ragtime piano player go great with Phoebe Esmon's cocktail creations at Farmers' Cabinet. They've even got two bars: beer to the left, cocktails to the right!
- arielle heller11月 24, 2012This is an awesome dinner option. Venison, short rib, skate - it's all good! Have the tasting plate on the meat, 3 cheeses and the pickled saffron duck egg.
- Untappd8月 24, 2012One of a kind, European-like bar, right in downtown! Amazing decor and great international beer list. Lighting is very dim so bring your reading light!
- Yo Jaico1月 21, 2014Local source type if restaurant! Love the ambience it has a very elegant rustic feel to it! It's better to come here in groups! Tables are huge 😊
- James Valley7月 28, 2013This place is totally unique. The house band is great! Check out the food, vibe, and Drew Nugent and the Midnight Society!
- Ricky5月 19, 2011Super unique, definitely a step away from your typical Micro-brew savvy center city bar. A menu that tickles your experimental side, decor that lets your nostalgic side wander, wonderful tap selection
- Best beer list in the north east, killer cocktails and the most extensive selection of game in the city. All in a frontier saloon. Try the elk and the holland fog
- Really good cocktails, draughts and food! Salted potatoes, duck egg in a jar, lamb tongue sandwich (!), BBQ porkbelly sandwich... Addicted to the bar popcorn...sweet and salty!
- Great beer and cocktails. The lobster and crab ceviche is a little heavy on the ginger, but everything else is fabulous. Try the cheese fondue - it's incredible.
- Barrels as tables is a really nice ambience piece. Very friendly staff. Superb draft list.
- bill biskup4月 16, 2011Great cheese and meat board selections. The root chips were a waste better off to buy a bag at Wawa. The only down note to an otherwise great experience.
- Doug Barg4月 6, 2011Perhaps the most most unique and exciting drinking/dining spot in Philly. Refreshingly authentic and non-theatrical. Unusual but accessible menu.
- Amazing beer list w/rate finds. But geez, If you want to check in to leave such a tip, use Subway's free wireless!
- Get a sour beer on tap and order a cheese plate. The cheese monger knows his stuff.
- bill biskup4月 16, 2011The beer list is divided into taste categories. The staff is also very knowledgeable and made great pairing recommendations.
- Hydro Medic11月 28, 2011I think the tips here are awful. Come here with an open pallet and let the servers introduce what ever your little dirty mind desires... totally open minded kind of place! :-)
- Audrey Julienne5月 29, 2011Great atmosphere, food is unusual but tasty. Donuts were on the dry side and a disappointment unless you drawn them in maple syrup or butter.
- Dud2月 5, 2012Flames of troy is fantastic. The duck rillette is average and you can get better at monoprix or franprix
- JessicaLaurenSF1月 22, 2012The rabbit cassoulet is fantastic. So was the pork Avoid the woman bartender at all costs. Miserable and hates life.
- Alison B.3月 25, 2012Its all about the mugs of punch served in tea cups. Cheesy? Yes, but delightful.
- One of the best spots in Philly for amazing imported craft beer. 続きを見る
- Lillian T6月 21, 2012Order the west indies! Its strong and sweet, it will definitely brighten your day/evening!
- Philadelphia Magazine12月 7, 2011Try Captain Radcliffe's punch. It contains Sauterne, cognac, lemon sherbet, nutmeg. 続きを見る
- Mary Crippen8月 30, 2013Don't try to pick a dessert- save yourself the agony of decision and just order all three.
- Eric Heaton7月 16, 2011If you get Amy as your waitress, be nice, she'll treat you well. She's amazing
- Lindsey Skolnick1月 28, 2014I would say this place is better known for their libations then their good.
- Yo Jaico1月 21, 2014Don't get the duck pierogi it's too starchy!! All I could taste were potatoes inside -.-" didn't even get a hint of the duck at all
- Mavi Boncuk3月 4, 2012Beware they charge for extra bread. This was especially irritating since we had a cheese board. Cheese needs bread.
