The chicken pie is the bomb and we can't go past the beetroot and goat cheese salad. Good beer selection and they allow dogs in the front bar. The beer garden is great in summer. Love this place.

As a Valencian from Spain, this paella is good enough, seafood paella done in a tasty way, respecting the seafood flavour. I can recommend it!
Their food is good too but the real reason to come here is the beer garden! Proper one

Still quite possibly the best steak pie in the world. Best accompanied by buttered greens and chips with aioli.

What on earth has happened to the service here over the last 6 months? Currently apparently two barstaff trying to staff the whole bar and restaurant between them :-/

Very dog friendly they'll bring water and treat for the dog before you've even ordered. Fab.
Very family and dog friendly. Excellent pork belly, unfortunately not part of the regular menu.- Amazing tapas. Some of the best I've ever had. Decent sized portions too which is unusual these days! Try the pork belly. Nom!!

The steak pie (for two) is well worth trying. Have it with a hearty red wine, mash and buttered greens. A true winter warmer.
Wanna add to the growing voice for Steak Pie, "best steak pie ever" said Katrina, an expert in steak pies from Newcastle.
The razor clams with chorizo were wonderful. Finish with a sherry and the Manchego.
Great pub for spotting minor celebs; seen Mark Lamarr and Adrian Chiles here
Forget about Heineken or Amstel, if you want a proper keg beer have a Camden Pale Ale.

Great food, varied drinks, good service, nice decor, cool atmosphere...
Food is very good, but service was terrible. Ignored by staff and took ages to get served and it wasn't even busy!
