Adam Stallman5月 19, 2018One of several capital buildings that do not have a dome. You can do a guided tour at certain times or just walk around. The building sits on top of a hill which allows for nice views of downtown.
Mark B4月 17, 2021Only open a couple days a week. Enter from a tunnel entrance facing MLK Blvd. We went on a Monday and were literally the only visitors in the entire bldg. It helps that they weren’t in session also.

Jeff Sellers5月 30, 2011If its the weekend and the Capitol is closed, walk to the North and South ends of the building to see the tombs of the architect and building commissioner.

If you want a really in depth tour of the building, ask for Taylor.
LPMNDC8月 12, 2011Look at the cupola to see if the legislature is in session. When they are you will see three flags.
