It is best to first view the Stonehenge in silence from all angles then if you wish to use the audio tour, your own headphones will fit the jack. ☺

What a beautiful area. The park below, the shops on the bridge, the River View Cafe. A very relaxing place to wander and hang out.

They care about what they serve. Very good coffee (real espresso rather than watery imitation) and good cakes. Lots of space on three floors and central location.
Take the little trail on the left around the outer wall for a more off the beaten road experience and great views. The end leads up to the site of the old cathedral.

Great walks. Friendly staff. 200 red squirrels. Lots of wildlife like deer and birds. Birth place of scouting in 1907. All started here
Can get very busy during the lavender season time. Worth checking out though.
Free walking tours throughout the day. Worth it to get a better understanding of the history behind the site. Picnic tables available outside if you prefer to bring your own food.
