- Laura Gamboa12月 23, 2014Sea otters and belugas. One of the biggest aquariums I've ever seen in the US
- Lou Malnati's Pizzeria5月 13, 2013Did you know approximately 2 million guests visit the Shedd Aquarium each year? With more than 220,000 animals, it's no wonder!
- When its raining or when its super hot outside, there will generally be a long line. Be warned now. If you have small kids with you. Bring something to entertain them.
- Reggie8月 3, 2013Got kids & a stroller? Use the stroller accessible entrance by the "man with the fish." The line is much shorter!
- Gilt City3月 29, 2011Shedd is home to Nunavik, a Beluga that’s just one year old. The name is an Inuit word that means “friendly, beautiful and wild.”
- Julia Styles10月 11, 2011Go see the jellies! Jazzin' at the Shedd is a lot of fun, but the food isn't great. Make dinner reservations somewhere else, and just get drinks at the Shedd.
- Juan Molina3月 30, 2019Avoid the crowds. The aquarium can get crazy busy in the weekends. Not worth going if you have to wait in line even to ride the elevator
- Kristin9月 3, 2012Aquatic show was awful! Very surprised that the incredible Shedd couldn't deliver. Confirm what you will see before you buy that add-on.. Plan to wait in line. Stroller line is shorter. City pass FTW
- Roosevelt Collection10月 31, 2011Fun fact: More than 25,000 fish live here! Visit the newest permanent exhibit, Wild Reef to see live coral, sharks and rays!
- jennah12月 25, 2011The jellyfish exhibit is breathtaking. The zen-like nature of these unique creatures is mind-blowing.
- Chris O3月 25, 2015The aquatic show is very much education, with very little show. Unless you're looking to make this an education trip this addition can be avoided.
- Bing3月 9, 2012Wild fish and exotic reptiles live here, but these are the ones making a splash: http://binged.it/yo8Sjh
- Paula Pérez Medina9月 13, 2014Recomendadisimo. Especies de peces y reptiles que nisiquiera sabias que existia
- Andre Saikai Gomes12月 18, 2014Great shows.. The dolphins are so cute.. You need to see all the shows.. Best ever
- Brittney B9月 12, 2012My son loved this aquarium. It was his first time here. And I can say we will be back.
- Eric Tsai10月 1, 2016We had the city pass but we still had to wait over 30 minutes on the will call line on a Friday. The line wasn't that long, the ticket desk was just that slow
- Chris Martin8月 8, 2013Go early or pay for the Citypass. Got there at 11 on a Thursday and waited for 1 hour to get in.
- Jose Posos8月 17, 2014If you are buying anything the gift stores in the aquarium use the word "penguin" to get a discount.
- Wired8月 23, 2012It contains 2,100 species of fish, marine mammals, birds, snakes, amphibians, and insects.
- Tracy7月 11, 2013Three bands throughout the bldg, access to the special exhibits and better food this year!
- Cooper Smith6月 29, 2013Buy your ticket the day before online (boooo ticketmaster fees) to avoid waiting in this hour+ long line
- If the line is past the steps and by the hot dog stand, it will take over 2 hours. Be warned.
- Shannon H.4月 5, 2012The dolphin show was A LOT better before they turned it into Fantasea. It was so much nicer to watch the dolphins with the lake in background.
- Valarie Smith8月 26, 2012This is the best place to watch the Saturday night fireworks in the summer. Not too crowded!
- Araceli Arroyo2月 4, 2012My favorite place, visit teh big tank in the middle for wide variety of aqua friends.
- Tracy1月 21, 2013It was free today!!! Very crowded but in spite of the crowd we had fun. J said we are at Nemos house!
- Bobbi Foster3月 10, 2012Buying ahead is only slightly advantageous on busy days. Being a member is the best bang for the buck.
- A. Vilcin5月 7, 2011Teachers enter free! But you have to apply online in advance for your ticket. May just be for IL teachers. Not sure.
- Jennifer H8月 25, 2012There HAS to be a more efficient way of getting ppl in this bldg. We just waited an HOUR to get a ticket OUTSIDE in the 100-degree heat. If you have small children or health conditions, come in winter
