If you gonna transfer at Seattle tacoma airport, just recommend you have 2 hours between landing and departure time
- Men's Health Mag8月 3, 2014The airport, with plenty of views of the neighboring Mt. Rainier, is home to farm-to-table eats including Anthony’s Homeport & Fish Bar. It’s the highest grossing airport restaurant in North America. 続きを見る
- Best cheese shop in town also has artisanal sandwich shop w/awesome breakfast sandwiches- available at the airport. Don't miss their cheesecake & salted caramel brownie.. Cafe vita has great coffee!
- Track down the awesome food court with huge windows to watch planes and great clam and salmon chowder at a variety of prices and styles.
- Dish D'Lish near the main concourse has the best quick breakfast. Avoid Wendy's and Ivar's unless you have 20 minutes to wait for your meal after ordering. Vino Volo is best place for a quiet drink.
- Emily Marino Larsen1月 29, 2013Traveling with kids? Use the family security check! Near the D gates as of Jan 2013. As a mom traveling alone with a baby, the TSA agents went out of their way to help me through.
- Brother Froning3月 13, 2013Small joy, but the soap in the bathrooms is my favourite soap in the world! I genuinely look forward to washing my hands here--it just smells so great!
- The free WiFi is great, but try spending a transit past midnight (or 9pm for that matter) and you'll starve with almost all the shops closed.プラス投票 Apr 3
- Alaska Airlines check-in for First Class usually has a line of four to five people with one agent checking in bags and tickets so might be worth it to use the self serve positions for faster check-in!
- Jordan Heighway6月 9, 2013Pros: free wifi, great food options, very clean and nice decor. Cons: line was really long at north terminal, one of the longest I've seen at an airport on Saturday afternoon. Go early if you can.
- One of my favorite airports in the US. It's tiny, but has good shops (visit Sub-pop!), good food, and also has street musicians (buskers)!
- Cory Williamson1月 17, 2011Spent the night there last night. It gets cold so ask for a blanket. Best place to sleep is behind the ticket wall to keep light and sound out. Stay away from windows. Night crew is very helpful!
- Brooke Louise1月 29, 2023Surprisingly high number of vegan friendly places and options here - Floret, Ever Green and loads more. Nice places are around Gate A-B/mountainy end.
- Samsonite5月 3, 2011SEA has outdoor and indoor pet relief areas, a children's play area, a nail salon, massage bars, business centers and a downloadable guide to the airport's extensive art collection.
- Barbara Begg10月 23, 2014Vino Volokh has a great wine sampler option. The chilli was delicious. The atmosphere is relaxing with jazz music. You may spend a lot but it's worth it.
- Donna Breukelman7月 23, 2013I've travelled out of seatac twice with us airways and alaska. I had great experiences with both airlines. If travelling to seatac from Vancouver i suggest Quick Shuttle $56 is worth
- All the gates are connected. Great real food choices in the central area between gates
- Grab a flight before your flight at Vino Volo. It's a great way to put yourself to sleep on the plane.
- If you have kids: In the B concourse there are fish on the floor. See if your kids can find the ones holding luggage or shaped like a plane. And one of the water fountains has a sound feature.
- Love sittin' in front of the huge glass window in the middle of the food court seeing planes during take off/landing
- Chris Calderon10月 28, 2018My fav airport... has a Coach store, several restaurants & pretty much anything else you’d need or want!
- FlightCenter.com1月 10, 2012TSA TIP #3 Remove your laptop(s) and shoes/belts while waiting in line for the x-ray machines and carry them in your hands to be ready for the bins, remember laptops are placed in a bin by itself.
- Tommy Quach6月 27, 2017You MUST get Clear, walked in with a scary long line at the security check in and walked through the Clear line and was through the line in literally 3 mins.
- Get here early if you have a 6am flight. It's usually busy even for pre line.
- Flew United, and thought the terminal was well maintained. Security was efficient. Also love the Link service to downtown for $3.
- The Italian place just to the left in the food court is amazing! Really good pizza and pasta, and they are open until 11pm.
- Colm Linehan1月 5, 2023Spot Saver at checkpoint 2 is a godsend. You'll get straight to the front of the TSA line, faster than fast track. And for free too. Google "Sea spot saver".
- The Priority Pass lounge is a long hike at the end of A wing - if your gate is anywhere other than A, you’ll need to budget plenty of time to visit.
- TSA Pre lines can get really long, normal security lines sometimes reach an hour wait. Go in advance. For healthy food options the new salad place is pretty good.
- Eric Sabban4月 8, 2017Planes fly out of here. Beware of the traffic. Plan ahead if you're getting there by car. Not sure what the deal is for trains, but it can be a standstill at times.
- Nice efficient Seattle airport with enough facilities for visitors and travellers.
- SEA airport makes flying fun. Look for the clowns and jugglers in the main food court. Leave plenty of time for domestic connections if you arrive from overseas.
- Michelle R9月 6, 2016If you're taking the train, the tickets are on an honor system. The stations to tap in aren't obvious, so seek one out. You also can't use an orca card for 2 people, so just get two paper passes!
- Get dropped off at arrivals if the departures line is swamped. Go up to escalators and you’re at TSA.
- M. R.5月 6, 2014Seattle-Tacoma International is the home airport of Alaska Airlines and a big Delta hub. With growing international services to Asia and Europe, the airport is (still) an ideal connecting airport.
- Go thru checkpoint 3 or 5 when the k9 dogs are in use.. speedier screening
- Lou Lou’s French restaurant has good mimosa’s, almond milk vanilla latte, and sourdough egg sandwich with ham yummy
- Check out the new Dilettante Mocha Cafe at the N Gates. Get a Mocha with your choice of real melted chocolate. Better than Starbucks!
- Get the TSA Pre check card, cost a little, and takes a couple if months to get but so worth it to zip past everybody on busy days!
- In the mood for fish tacos?Anthony's fish bar in the central food court have the best Mahi Mahi grill fish tacos :-D For clam chowder, Ivar's has the best.
- Jordan White8月 13, 2014Gone through a nice remodel. Live music throughout the terminal. Good restaurants and shops. Getting through security has improved greatly.
- Anthonys Seafood is the best place to sit down and watch airplanes take off/land. Decent food for the airport; best quality, selection and view. Cheers !
- Brian Ibarra5月 4, 2016You can have TNC/Rideshare like Uber or Lyft pick you up in a designated section if he parking lot next to taxis or take the train all way downtown for cheap
