Naveen & I built 1/2 of the foursquare prototype here (mostly at the back table near the bathroom). The "mayor" feature in 4SQ came from our buddy Chad making fun of us for camping at that table :)
Order a mug of straight up Mud coffee. Brunch here is actually very tasty, but sit on the back patio if you can or you'll smell like a kitchen for the remainder of the day.
definitely the best cafe in the 'hood! great coffee, sandwiches and sweet treats. and it's cozy to boot.
Cafe OST is the new Gramstand... free wi-fi, good croissants and best hot chocolate in the East Village. (12th and A)
