- ZenFoodster12月 5, 2015Washing down quality faves Seafood Sui Mai & stir fried Radish Cake w/ Duck Meat w/ Chrysanthemum tea. Get this cheaper: dinner dim sum & drinks menu for 1/2 off Mon-Fri 4-7pm.
- Nathalie♛7月 3, 2016Best Chinese I ever had! On the outside it doesn't look like much but it's not what it seems! The dumplings are amazing btw 😉
- Harumi U11月 30, 2014Cleanest dim sum place you find in China Town. You don't have to sacrifice yumminess for that though. Only the thing you don't have is carts and I see it as you are being served fresh food
- Stuart Littlewood5月 2, 2016Red Egg caters to those looking for excellence in their cuisine and a hip and contemporary venue in which to enjoy it in. Serving traditional Cantonese and Szechuan specialties,
- Jackie Luo8月 6, 2014Their dim sum options are really good, with items like the garlic spare ribs, and they also have great noodle/rice dishes that work well for groups.
- Andrew C3月 21, 2017Dumplings were solid, lo mein and chicken dishes were cooked perfectly... overall nice sit-down restaurant and attentive wait staff!!
- Guest of a Guest1月 18, 2012Red Egg, with it's saturated, sultry red lighting and solid variety of DJ's, including regulars like Chelsea Leyland and May Kwok, is restaurant by day, Chinatown hot spot by night. 続きを見る
- Anna R11月 11, 2014Great place to bring people to their first dim sum experience. Easy menu and no dim sum carts.
- Anoop Ranganath8月 12, 2014If you order the duck buns, they'll sell you the rest of the duck for $5. Plenty of delicious skin and meat on there to enjoy!
- ZenFoodster12月 5, 2015Fried pork & chive dumpling filling were ok but skins tasted store-bought. XO Rice rolls w/ beef has little XO sauce & taste.
- ᴡ Rockshic11月 12, 2012Great for large parties actually -- think: Fancy Dim Sum (before Chinatown Brasserie folded (bummer). There's also Red Farm in Tribeca!
- Jenny Fan8月 3, 2013Lighting is oddly sultry (and red) for a dimsum joint. Small portions, pricier side - not my pick when I'm craving cheap yummy Chinese food and/or the familiar glow of neon Chinatown lighting.
- Serious Eats3月 15, 2013Cleaner, tastier dim sum than your average Chinatown place, with fresh dishes you order off the menu rather than from a cart.
- Bon12月 24, 2012Pork and chive dumplings a hit. Rice rolls and soup dumplings sadly a big miss. Get the steamed milk dessert.
- Raja H2月 5, 2012Get the Young Coconut Pudding to share with at least one friend. Served out of a coconut shell; it's something you'll want to save room for.
- Tasty dim sum. No "cart" service, but very responsive staff and great food in a not-so-crowded-and-crazy space.
- David Steward4月 9, 2012Great Chinese, via Peru! (Not the Chinese food you grew up with) Great decor and music. Perfect for a special private party.
- Lori Luo8月 10, 2014Come for a quieter, less-rushed dim sum experience. Dishes are checked off a sheet and delivered as they're prepared.
- Erik Nygren1月 14, 2014The scrambled egg dish (vegetarian) is the best egg dish I've had in a long time. Lunch service was slow, despite it's emptiness.
- get the stir fry radish cakes, comes with eggs, julienned carrots/leeks/celery, and DUCK :)
- Anders Husa4月 1, 2012Awesome dim sum. Try the steamed egg whites and the coconut pudding (served in a coconut). Avoid the cocktails.
- Megha Gupta5月 4, 2013Best dim sum I've had since SF!! The desert buns were super messy and delicious
- Contently HQ4月 12, 2013Just got our Friday lunch from here! Great selection and great quality. We recommend the dim sum!
- Emilie Dishongh3月 14, 2012Pork and scallion fried dumplings, and the special rice roll that's fried then wrapped a second time in a steamed rice wrapper.
- EchoDA10月 2, 2012its more then a restaurant it turns into a lounge good fun, good lounge, small dance floor area!
- William H3月 5, 2016Soup dumplings are hard and unpalatable and they charge for tea. Jin Fong this is not.
- Susanna Lee Paulus10月 17, 2010My favorite place to go for dim-sum - a lot quieter than the normal fair. Try the fried radish cakes with bits of duck!
- Skip the fried short ribs and go straight to the soup dumplings. You want your own order.
- Guest of a Guest2月 3, 2012Last week, we told you Wednesday is the new Friday at Red Egg. We weren't kidding. And the crazy continues as Fashion Week parties approach.
- Donna Lehman6月 14, 2010Great place in Chinatown with melt in your mouth dim sum. Peking duck sliders were scrumptious. Go early, it gets crowded. 続きを見る
