Look for the man with copper pots. He has the most amazing goodies for you at a reasonable price!! Also, the views of the city are amazing.
They had an amazing Blood Orange Sorbet, but if you prefer ice cream don't be afraid to get a large order of Salted Caramel or the Earl Grey - both are phenomenal.
If you're calorie conscious the Hot Dog is your best bet, and the biggest bang for your buck.
The Ferry Building is very popular, and I recommend it to anyone who is visiting San Francisco. They've got great restaurants (Slanted Door, MarketBar) and a morning farmer's market a few times a week
They have a Book Club and let you start an account with them. After a certain amount of purchases that qualify (which isn't hard to do actually), they'll give you some store credit!
All you can eat Sushi! Completely reasonably priced. Come hungry, it's totally worth it.

Great place to chill out in the shade. Pull up a seat in front of the historical video presentation. PLUS there's a restroom with 3 toilets (!), and bubblers to fill up your water bottle for free!
Amazing place. Get a bunch of quarters and go to town! Fortune teller machines are fun, as are the zoetropes. Spend some time with the Original Star Wars, Pac Man, and Marvel v. Capcom cabinets too.
They recently lowered the price to $8 which I think is reasonable. Good Activity if you're touring the Embarcadero (Fisherman's Wharf, Pier 49, Alcatraz, Ghiradelli Sq), not worth a standalone trip.
Hidden Gem - grab a basket and pick and choose from saltwater taffy, old school candy varieties, and modern favorites. Really reasonably priced per pound too.

Great locale to take a date. Definitely share the soup dumplings. I prefer the Mao Po Tofu, personally - if you're feeling adventurous!
Amazingly plush leather seats, and you don't feel crowded in! They'll also serve popcorn to you layered - which noone else really does anymore.
The iced coffee here is amazeballs, but I think you'll be happy with anything given the special made cup every time. For out of town newbies: order line on the right, pay line on the left.

Lemon Meyer Cookie was phenomenal. Also, I never thought Olive Oil would make a great ice cream topping - but it's totally amazing! Do not try their popsicles, they are neither refreshing nor sweet.
Go with a large group of friends and then eat it family style. Plus the free home-made oreo special is totally worth it. Personal favorites were the Mexican and Breakfast Mac.
