Pyry H: The oldest remaining public sauna. Saunas for men and women. Also a cafeteria with nice prices and good beer selection. This is the most original Finnish atmosphere you can get in city.

Pyry H: If you are lucky, you can walk here on frozen ice in winter (Jan-Feb). But ask locals when it's safe to go and from where. Usually recommended paths from Mustalahti harbour and Lapinniemi harbour.

Janina Johanna Sibelius: Eat and shop groceries. Organic food from local producers! The only place in Tampere with plenty of choice!

Pyry H: The biggest flea market you find near city center. Items can be sometimes overpriced, so don't buy when you can get the same for less in original shop.

joteixa: one of the best public saunas of Tampere. It is next to the lake and is amazing on winter, when the lake is frozen.

Pyry H: Probably one of the best terraces in Tampere. Also one of the only bars with live jazz (check the program).

Pyry H: With student card draft beer 4,80e and foods -1e (from Sunday to Tuesday).

Pyry H: Very cheap food, cheap and nice furniture and best of all, you can get here by bus. Bus lane 3 from Keskustori, get up from the plaza side. The last stop is Ikea, so you can't miss it (same reverse).

Pyry H: Read newspapers (both Finnish and international) here. Also free internet available, ask the clerk. Also a nice collection of magazines.

Pyry H: Wieners and sausages 1-2€. You don't need anything else. Open only late at night at least by weekends.

Pyry H: Summertime try here basketball, football or even bicycle polo. Wintertime put on your skates and let your Gretzky out.

Pyry H: Fine cemetery with good views. Loads of deceased Finnish celebrities. Get some more info on this place if you want to experience some history. Awesome on 6th Dec (Independence day) and on Christmas.

Pyry H: The largest pool hall in Tampere. Rather expensive, but here you can play on decent tables.

Pyry H: No. 1 laser tag gaming experience in Tampere. Not cheap, but worth it. Best when you go with a group.

Pyry H: Old-fashioned stable yard with handicraft boutiques and nice cafeteria. Open daily 10-18, boutiques closed on Mondays.

Pyry H: Nice place for good coffee (2 euros incl. refill) at Mustalahti marina facing the Särkänniemi amusement park. Motorists visit here every summer Tuesday.

Pyry H: Longest wooden stairs in Tampere. Great views and unique neighborhood. Try some step exercise here. ;)

Pyry H: The one and only pub in a ship in Tampere. Excellent for sunny afternoons. Only open in summer. And no it is not the six beers,it really is tilted a bit.

Pyry H: Fresh water spring with very mineral rich water. Crab some bottles with you, this is probably the most pure and best tasting water you find in Tampere - and you never buy water again!

Pyry H: Great for urban explorers searching for abandon buildings. Old matchstick factory full of graffiti. You can get to the roof with nice view. Be aware, it's pretty dangerous with loose bricks and so.

Pyry H: Tampere is a real hockey city with two major teams, so you should see at least one match from Ilves or Tappara.

Pyry H: One of the most popular (and expensive) attractions. Also can be very crowdy, so buy your bracelets from Siwa foodmarket if you can to avoid entrance queue. Try dolphinarium and Tornado!

Pyry H: Pizza place with a view up in the water tower! Cost 8+ euros.

Pyry H: Original ice cream factory shop in Tampere. Very superior quality Italian style ice cream! Pretty expensive, but worth it.

Pyry H: Do-it-yourself skatepark in very urban neighborhood near to an old matchstick factory. Only for skateboards! Must see place for all urban life lovers!

Pyry H: Very tasty meatballs! I would recommend bacon meatballs in creamy sauce.

Juha Hiltunen: The original wings joint, and the best wings!! The service is slow in downstairs, so stick to upstairs if possible!

Vincent Verhoeven: The party pack is nice for even 3 persons, if are really hungry. You get 20 chicken wings instead of 15 then, and an extra drink. You like spicy, take the x-hot. Suicidal might be too hot to enjoy :D.

Karri Huhtanen: A german style beer restaurant. This is the place where you can taste all of local (Tampere, Finland) craft brewery (Koskipanimo) beers. Food also available.
