Excellent celebration location. Food could be a tad bit better. Overall this is a great place for events. Dance club and bar in the basement restaurant above. Outdoor seating.プラス投票 5日前
Happy hour specials: get the brussel sprouts, devils on horseback, oysters, or wings. Everything on the menu is good, though. Lots of fantastic brews and bites. Fun trivia on Wednesday nights!プラス投票 Feb 27

TIL the name comes from Fort Putnam, a revolutionary war fort (today we know it as Fort Greene Park). It was named after George Washington’s chief engineer Colonel Rufus Putnam. 🌠

Extensive beer list!
Holly Moore2月 9, 2018Really mediocre brunch. Badly cooked friend eggs and cold coffee. The space is nice, so I could see it as being a good place to watch the game, but I would come with a full belly.
truffle mac and cheese, the burger, seasonal salad - perfect neighborhood spot for late weeknight dinner or beautiful spring afternoon outside

The shrimp po' boy is bonkers. Salt 'n pepper shrimp on a po' boy roll with all the fixins. Huge and delicious.

caesar salad has a lot of dressing on it, but in a really good way. shepherd's pie is meaty/beyond delish.
Troy is super nice. Really accommodating and friendly. Bought my buddy a few beers when the kitchen had grill problems. And the bar top is huge and great for parking.
Devils on Horse back EVERY time! Staff are lovely. Great place for snack and drinks or a group dinner- Bar trivia on Tuesdays--$100 first prize. Great beer selection and plenty of ciders and craft beer.
Every Thursday Night in the downstairs lounge starting at 9pm you will find the hottest party in Brooklyn for a Thursday!! Drink Specials and COOL DJs!!- chicken liver mousse with toast, fig jam, and a bunch of tiny pickles

Brunch burger is my go to burger. Biscuits are buttery deliciousness. Short Rib Hash is a standout.- trivia night wednesdays at 8:30pm - $100 gift certificate for first place

- Mussels are an awesome value. Resist eating the toast right away though, save for later to soak up the amazing broth.

Go to the secret lounge downstairs and ask for the vegetarian chili, you won't regret it.
Trick is to get the raw oysters on happy hour special! Then it's easier to justify the full dozen!
