Anonymous, since 20187月 22, 2021This is the number one attraction (sorry observatory). Noteworthy is the current exposition of David Driskell. Of course the “Masters” collection (corner of 1st floor and 3rd floor) are amazing too.

Tourists come here, but so do Artists' Colonies of varied types. Old Port Festival held in Spring, Sidewalk Art Festival in the Fall.
Visit Maine5月 3, 2011Great museum with new exhibits and a fantastic permanent collection. Free admission on Fridays is a nice perk, too. Make sure to check out the local galleries along Congress Street and in the Old Port
