Built in 1889 to celebrate the centenary of Birmingham achieving city status. The pavings and lamps decorating the square were designed by British artist, Tess Jaray.

Walk around in the city centre and come to the famous Victoria Square. It is home to the Town Hall, Council House, a giant fountain of a bathing woman and a drab statue of Queen Victoria.
