They offer a small discount if you are a teacher, but frankly, still too expensive and limited selection for anything other than an emergency.
Go right after 9:30 pm to get the Donut Peddler's fresh donuts. A bad, bad habit....but soooo good!
Great place to stay while taking day trips all over wine country. Favorite restaurant: The Farmstead. Fun to explore Main Street. Great walking town.
I love to watch the bocce players when I go to the farmer's market on Friday. In fact, I painted them. Almost as entertaining as playing yourself!
Not that great if you've been to, say, Santa Cruz farmer's market. Expensive and not huge selection of produce, more arts/crafts, but a fun place to visit. Watch some bocce while there. Beautiful park
I love the Macarons, though this time they were too almond-y. Didn't think it possible, but they were. Always crowded and not much room to stand in line.
Quaint little street (Main) with pricey shops and galleries. Not for the light of wallet, but a beautiful Victorian town.
One word: Palmers. This is scrambled eggs with cream cheese and chives. Ask for "soft scrambled," or they're too dry. Fabulous! VERY crowded and usually a pretty lengthy wait.
The best deals at Ross are in the housewares, skincare and occasionally shoes. It's hit and miss, but when you hit it right, great stuff!
