If you get delayed, rather don't check through security yet - the shop offering on domestic departures side is minimal. On the plus side, the queues move fast

If you're departing internationally from Terminal A (non-SAA) in the evening, walk over to Terminal B after checking in. Security and passport queues are much shorter there evenings.

check in online & save time. There is no need to stand in those long lines at the check in counters! If you have bags, most airlines have a fast bag drop service.

If travelling with late night or early morning flight, no entertainment....hhhmmmm nor spending of the remaining rands as duty free shops close early...by 11 most of them.

World Class Airport Service - Only 15 minutes between Sandton Station and OR Tambo International Airport. Get a Gautrain Gold Card to pay and reload by creditcard for the train.

If you're having a long lay over, check out the premier lounge on the 2nd level. Pay 40 dollars and you get to shower, eat, drink, go online with their free wifi!

You don't need your boarding pass to get out of the international transfer lounge. If you have a long layover and your onward airline desk is not yet open, show your itinerary at the screening point.

Caso for fazer conexão aqui, ficar pelo menos 3-4 horas, pois é grande, com area de revista apertada e lenta, assim como na aduaneira, na qual todos devem fazer a biometria. Serviço demorado.
