This eclectic psychedelic wasteland is an enormous complex decorated with random furniture. Despite sounding like an utter hell hole, Szimpla Kert is badass, and definitely a must see in Budapest.

Stunning interior & gorgeous view from the rooftop! Definitely worth the token entrance fee of only 200 & 500 huf. The direct walk to chain bridge and across the Danube is perfect all round. Enjoy! ☺️

The most amazing food I ever tried. Started with a welcome drink. Followed by a wine tasting. Finished with outstanding dinner. Try the goose lever parfait and the deer. Friendly waiter on top.
Here you can fully enjoy the cuisine and nice conversation, and there is no wifi! What an amazing place! I definitely recommend to try the rabbit with spicy pear salad! Every wine is great for sure!

Came because a friend of mine told me that the food here was so good it made her cry. & indeed, tasting menu was a really great culinary experience, didn't made me cry but it was definitely worth it.
Amazing food and even better service. All wine served by the glass to match each course, expertly selected by the very knowledgeable sommelier and is all local Hungarian wine. Fantastic experience.

Nice place to spend some time revisiting still recent history. Many statues of the old communist regime can be seen. Getting here by public transport is easy with Metro 4 and frequent buses.

Nice street food place, they have lángos, hamburger, sausage, Thai, lot of options. Had the pizza, freshly made 1500 fts for the margarita with tomato rocket salad and prosciutto, crunchy & delicious!

Fantastic, inventive Hungarian food, with amazing local wine pairing. Service was friendly and attentive, decor was bright, casual and modern. They should get a Michelin star.
