G M6月 24, 2016This is my favorite place to visit in Pittsburgh! I highly recommend the encounters/trainer for the day. They are worth every penny. You get up close to the birds and the staff is fantastic!!

Jim Fisher10月 17, 2014This is a great aviary. Multiple open air rooms allow you to get great looks at the birds. The Bald and Sea Eagles are a must see, who knew birds could be that big? The penguins are fun, too.
Excellent place. So many amazing endangered birds. Get up close with a sloth or a bunch of penguins. A really fun place to go with your significant other if they like birds.

Danielle Rhinelander8月 17, 2013Best picture is probaly either the bald eagle or the Baringer Sea Eagle. The Sea Eagle is overwhelming in size when you see it up close. Awesome place. I love it!
Painting with a Twist6月 21, 2013Penguin Point is the coolest interactive exhibits anywhere. Pop up next to a penguin and check him out up-close. Or stick around and watch a feeding. These guys are worth watching.

Marissa Hite1月 16, 2017Maybe it's because I'm older, but I really only enjoyed watching the penguins and the sloth feeding. The rest of the Aviary itself was pretty boring. Perhaps it's better for little kids.
